Park Community Church is committed to volunteer leadership as we
pursue our mission of leading the people of Ventura County into a growing
relationship with Jesus Christ. Service Teams are vital to the success
of this mission, and we want each volunteer to be well trained and well
prepared.
If you
are not part of a Service Team then we have an important team that we encourage everyone to take part in for at least a short-term season - "The Road Crew". So, what does the "Road Crew"
do? This Team is responsible setting up and breaking down all our environments. Does
that sound like a lot? Well, it is NOT because we have taken these
opportunities and made it easy to get involved. Currently, we have 2
different Road Crew Teams for you to get plugged in and the commitment is ONLY
two times a month. This is a valuable team to serve on because you will meet a lot of our key volunteers and get the inside scoop on what makes each Sunday happen. And it's fun!!!
TEAM 1: This Road Crew team helps unload the trailers and set up the Children's environments (Waumba
Land/UpStreet) and the Adult Auditorium prior to the 10am Service. Breakfast and our "liquid energy" coffee included!!
TEAM 2: This Road Crew Team is responsible for the load out of the Children's environments (Waumba Land/UpStreet) and the Adult Auditorium following the 10:00am Service.
Age 13 and up are invited to volunteer. Most items are on wheels so if you can't lift heavy items that's no problem.
To join the River Park Community Church volunteer leadership team, we ask that everyone do the following:

- A representative from the ministry you choose will contact you shortly about the next steps which will include an application, orientation and apprenticing.
